You know, I'm not a religious person, I'll be the first to admit it, but if it's okay for you to push your religious beliefs on me, I think it's okay for me to read books, that disagree with your religion. Umm, let's try being a little open-minded, people. I understand that half of these banned books were written before I was born, but you know what? Our founding fathers didn't want to incorporate religion and America, and neither do I. I can't change your mind on this subject, but I would like if you would try to be a little more open minded.
You know what else I don't understand? Who are you or anyone else to judge another because of books they read? We are in 2011, and it's okay to try different thing, or you know, not try to ban a book because it challenges what you thing. I think, personally, that when a person is given a new idea, or when an idea they have grown up with is challenged, we are more likely to grow. When you think about it, banned books are probably the biggest blessing in disguise.
